Farol is Portuguese for lighthouse. These iconic buildings have for centuries provided seafarers with a sense of reassurance and have helped to guide them safely during times of great difficulty. We had this image in mind when we established our company in 2010, two years into a recession that is having a massive impact on the public, private and voluntary sectors alike.
